Angstrom Advanced Inc. has introduced a multifunctional unit BT-1600 image particle analysis system which includes testing options for image distribution test and particle shape analysis. The unit consists of an optical microscope, image acquisition system, CCD camera, computer, printer and software. - integrating traditional microscopy and advanced image processing technology. Besides giving the shape of the particle, the unit can also give particle size distribution and ratio of length to diameter. The image process includes gray-scale transform, separation, delete, rotate, color transform, paste, filter, patching and zoom in or out. The system can also crop and paste several images to make up a complete image.
